Are These Songs Your 'Guilty Pleasures'?

Hiya. How are we doing on this day? I’m back at school after a relaxing March Break and these awesome Glee songs from episode 4×17 ‘Guilty Pleasures’ made my day a whole lot better. Like seriously, these songs are so awesome! If they’re any hint at what the episode will be like, this will be one heck of an episode! I’ve been listening to most of these on repeat. So take a listen for yourselves!

‘Wannabe’ (by The Spice Girls) sung by Brittany, Unique, Kitty, Tina and Marley

Yaaaay an ABBA song! I’m so happy! And I’m even more happy that it sounds amazing! I like the slower part at the start and I like how we hear ND jump in. This song is sung by ND on stage and also by Rachel, Kurt and Santana in NYC. I like that. So I am super pleased with this part. I also think it’s going to be partly about Rachel after she breaks up with Brody. This is one of the songs I’ve been listening to on repeat.

Blam, who I like only as friends, have a killer song. It makes me want to dance. They did a good job with it. It’s also one of the songs I’ve been listening to on repeat.

Then Blaine gets a super solo. Like, it’s amazing. I’ve heard that this may be his NYADA audition, but I’m not 100% sure about that. Also, this is a recorded version, but on the show, what you hear is Darren’s live singing and piano playing. This is the second time he’s done that, the first was for the acoustic ‘Teenage Dream’ from ‘The Break Up’. Anyways, this song is cute and sad and I think we can all agree it sounds like he’s singing it to Kurt. It makes so much sense. Oh man, what if it’s for SAM? Ew, please be Kurt, please be Kurt….

Jake’s song is okay. It’s probably the worst song of the episode, and it’s not that awful.

Rachel and Brody sing a duet that sounds a lot like a breakup song! Yee-haw! Brody is a creep! It’s catchy, but not the best. It doesn’t really showcase Rachel’s nice voice. :S

Sam’s solo is….interesting. I like the song. I used to sing it when I was little. Then again, I only knew the first verse so I didn’t know how sad it got at the end. I wonder why Sam’s singing it. It’s not a Taylor Swift song! Does Sam also have another guilty pleasure of sad songs? Hmmm…

The girls’ Spice Girls song is probably the second worst song. I mean, the song itself is kinda weird. What, exactly, is a “zigazig ha”? Anyways, this Season, the girls’ song choices seem to be very, very weak. :S

So those are the songs. Like I said, I’ve been listening to ‘Mamma Mia,’ Against All Odds’, ‘Copacabana’ and ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-go’ on repeat. I am even as I write this! The episode seems like it’ll be good! I can’t wait for Thursday!
