Hay y’all! How’s it going? I’m on summer vacation now so I’m happy.
Did you see the newest Glee Project? This week’s episode was ‘Sexuality’. Sexuality and romance is a huge part of Glee so this assignment was an important one.
The mentor for this episode is a perfect one: Naya Rivera. She plays Santana on Glee and she’s hooked up with girls and guys so I think she’d have lot to say to the hopeful contenders. The homework assignment for the week is ‘I Wanna Sex You Up’. That song, if you can remember was sung on Glee by the Acafellas in Season 1. Here’s the song…
They did pree good, right? The winner of the assignment is Charlie. 🙂
So for the music video, the group is doing a mashup! The first one of the season! 🙂 The mash Maroon 5’s hit ‘Moves Like Jagger’ with ‘Milkshake’ by Kelis. I was happy that the ‘Sexuality’ episode was sooner in the season unlike last season when there was oly six people left. Now there’s more so it’s better. I wasn’t thrilled with the song choice or the fact that they’re all grinding on each other in a classroom. Last year’s ‘Sexuality’ episode was way better. Anyhoo, here is the music video. Again, I couldn’t get a video embedded in, but here’s a link.
What do you think of that?
So the bottom three for this episode who are doing last chance songs are: Michael, who sang ‘Lucky’ (a duet…), Tyler, who sang ‘Smile’ (the Charlie Chaplin one) and Charlie, who sang ‘I Get A Kick Out Of You’. It’s too bad that Charlie is doing a lasy=t chance song because he won the homework assignment. Anyhoo, after the three of them sang for Ryan Murphy, they announced who was sadly departing them. This time, it was TYLER. I’m going to be honest here: I’m not sad to see him go. Plus, this week’s theme was hard for him (I’m guessing) because he seems to be blaming all his faults on the fact that he’s transgendered so I guess he’s still doing the same. He never really shined at all.
Next week’s episode (2×05) is ‘Adaptability’ and the mentor is Kevin Mchale, who plays Artie. 🙂 I can’t wait!
