‘Archie Meets Glee Part 3’ Book Review

Part 1

Part 2

Hello! I know that this post probably isn’t what you expected I’d be posting. You’d think I’d have a Season 4 overview or a Glee Relationship chart and I swear, those are both on their way so stay tuned, but for now, let’s take a break and continue on Glee’s comic book journey. Today I read this:

glee archie 3

It’s number 3 in the 4 Part series. It’s also a game changer in terms of plot. Like in Part 2, there was some more plots, but there was also a huge cliffhanger that makes me super excited for Part 4, the final installment.

I think Part 3 was really good. There were some cute parts, some weird parts, and some interesting parts. If you read Part 2, you’d know that at the end, Glee’s bad boy Puck asked out Archie’s good girl Betty. I love Betty and I don’t think she’s a good match for Puck at all. I think if Glee and Archie were to play around with couples, Betty should be with Finn and Veronica should try with Puck. Veronica likes Reggie and he’s a bad boy so you’d think they’d make a better match. But nonetheless, Petty (Puck and Betty) happened in Part 3. In Glee world, Veronica strikes up an unlikely friendship with Kurt and together they sing an ABBA song, ‘Waterloo’ (can this song happen on Glee? PLEASE?). I like how the friendships are forming between the worlds. Over in Archie world, both Mercedes and Blaine are asked to ditch The Archies (the band) and join Josie And The Pussycats, but only Blaine agrees. Hmmm….. In the end, due to a couple kissing (you’ll have to read to find out who), the two groups may be in danger of returning to their worlds.

One thing I really like is that they’re switching focus on the characters between books so like in Glee, there are many storylines and friendships growing. And as I say every post, they’re doing a really great job capturing the character’s personalities.

One small mistake I noticed was that when Puck and Betty were at Pop’s, they sat in a booth. Puck was on the left side and Betty was on the right, but in one frame, when Cheryl Blossom comes in and sees them, they’re on opposite sides. 😛

So that’s about it. I liked Part 3 more than Part 2, but not as much as Part 1. Either way, I suggest you read this, and the others too. If you can’t find them in stores singly, in August all 4 Parts will be released in one book so keep an eye out for that.

P.S. Betty buys Puck a package of Redvines 🙂 That’s three fandoms crossing over here for me, if you know what I mean.

Quite the summary! I enjoyed the scene with Brittany at MIT. Your’s is the only website that mentioned Avagadro and Glee. It was Avagadro’s constant, prime number, Blake’s constant, and the Brittany code. I had never heard of Blake’s constant and was relieved they had made it up.

I think they are writing her out of the show because of pregnancy or internet pics.

Hey! Thanks! The only reason I remembered Avagadro’s Constant is because last semester I took Chemistry and that is the only thing I really understood and retained 😛
I think they deffo wrote her out because she’s pregnant. But I heard she’s due in September so maybe she’ll be back later on in the Season 🙂 I hope so.
