Final Glee Relationship Chart

Yes, the final Glee relationship chart is here! Updated in all its glory!

Like always, I may have missed something, though I’ve spent ages just staring at it and trying to remember anything I may have missed. But if you notice anything missing, let me know and I’ll fix it.

relationship chart as of end

What a mess. A cool mess, but a mess nonetheless. The newbies are all shoved at the side because moving everything over a bit would be a pain. I also considered adding a family line so characters like Burt and Carole could be there, but that’d mean also adding Quinn’s parents and Sam’s family and people like such and I was not down for that. It would have been a huge pain to reshuffle it all to accommodate so many more people. However, if Glee had gotten another season, I probably would have taken the time to redo this so it’s not as messy and crazy and then added in the family line. Oh well.

So that’s it for my relationship chart. It’s been fun. I made this years ago and have been updating it regularly since, so it’s really neat to see the final product, as complicated as it is. 😛

That’s all for now!

I think that the line from Sam to Rachel should be a fling. Because with all the other he himself called them his girlfriend. Never once did he give her that title.

True, but they were ‘together’ for more than one episode, so I consider it more than a fling by Glee standards.

Then Santana/Sam is considered “more than a fling” by your standards. Which ew. The only relationships that should count for more than a fling is Quinn/Sam, Mercedes/Sam, and unfortunately (and disgustingly btw); Brittany/Sam. Sam/Rachel also basically only lasted 2 episodes, the rest of it was him under hypnosis and her referring to him as a “friend” whilst kissing Jesse. Furthermore Sam/Rachel should have NEVER existed, it was a stupid mistake on the writers part because they thought that’s what everyone wanted, but then realised too late that 90% of the fandom HATED them together.

Sam/Santana was considered more than a fling because they lasted more than en episode and I think Sam genuinely liked her to some extent.
And I totally agree that Sam/Rachel was not a good move on the show’s part. Maybe for one episode or something but it should not have existed for as long as it did.

I do not think of Blaine he had LOVED Karofsky! It was only a kind of trying to rebound (as Kurt to Adam in Season 4)!It was NEVER REAL TRUE LOVE !That was only a Blaine/Kurt thing!!

Well, I agree to some extent. I mean, if Kurt hadn’t changed his mind then and went to get Blaine back, Blaine may have very well ended up with Dave, hypothetically. But yeah, I agree that he was just the rebound.
The red line is for love or like, and I think Blaine did like Dave at least. And since they were together for more than one episode I can’t consider it a fling.

Darren Criss ,at Paris Gleek Convention has stated he did not like the “Blaine/Karofsky” relationship! He phoned to Adler “Bad news:we ( Blaine and Dave) are a couple!”.A Fox producer said that ” Blaine and Karofsky were to end up (together?)” !!I think of that the Klainer-fans riot made Ryan Murphy’s ming change ,and the season 6 story-linee too!He did not re-write but smoothened ,softened, the Karofsky ‘s thing ,which ,for fans was a living hell!!!Darren made her mother express his own feelings about that by tweeting just after ep 1 and 2 airing that her mother seeing the “Scandals’s scene” (when Kurt meets Blaine then Karofsky) cryed “Oh No!Oh no!”….

I mean, I’m sure Darren and Max liked working together and I read that they were always laughing when trying to film, but they knew that Klaine was endgame. Everyone knew. Ryan always planned to have Klaine as endgame. Karofsky was just to make Kurt realize that Blaine was the one for him, and everyone knew that.

Yes I agree with you ,I know Darren ,Chris and Max Adler like playing and filming together!Adler said that himself!I know Ryan wanted blaine and Kurt together in happy end(and before in season 6) I understand the 2nd break-up and the Blainofsky affair were planned to make Kurt meaning how much he loved Blaine ,but I think that was awfull for fans!We should have been glad with a happy Klaine love -story all along season 6 !A wedding in one of the first eps then a long happy honey -moon and love-life in New-York , at Nyada ,Univ and so on…!That Ryan did not feel ,he is a visionnary ,a genius ,but not allways…

I suppose, yes. But Klaine drama is somewhat realistic. And no, it wasn’t fun to watch, but it’s all okay now. Klaine are happily married and with child. What’s done is done. 🙂

I disagree with the Sam and Rachel. Dating/ hung out was all that they did then you would have to label it the same as Sam and Santana. They did exactly the same thing. They kissed, made out. They were together for more than one episode and she sang to him. But he admitted that they were seeing each other. Never called her a friend. Where as Rachel and Sam did less in less time and called each other friends. So rebounds are flings. Flings are space fillers and that is what they were to each other.

I see your points, I do, but I think Sam/Rachel actually had feelings for each other. They had Mercedes’ blessing and they had actual intimate moments (in Rachel’s room during the party, for example). We never saw that with Santana and Sam because it was clear that Santana just wanted to annoy Quinn (Santana never cared for Sam) and Sam didn’t want to be cheated on, so they hooked up. It was a feelings-less fling.
There is a difference between rebound and fling sometimes. Sometimes rebounds turn into flings. Sometimes they last longer. Considering the time between both Rachel and Sam’s last relationships, was it really a rebound? Not really. Was it a fling? Not really.
Glee’s had so many relationships that it’s blurred the lines, making the lines on my chart hard to clearly label sometimes but I don’t think Santana/Sam to Rachel/Sam are a fair comparison.

Sam and Rachel were totally a fling.
